Give it a cinematic flair

Your projects are sophisticated. They deserve to be presented with flair.

That’s why we created Covers.

Covers allow you to easily package your project with cinematic branding and create dynamic entry points into your work.

Choose the right tool for the job

At MediaStorm, we believe any successful project begins with a question:

What’s the best way to tell this story?

Maybe it needs a film, or a slideshow, or an interactive map. How about a historical timeline or a podcast episode?

Go viral with control

Few things thrill a publisher more than their work going viral.

Most of the time, this means a few screenshots and backlinks, at best.

Good for the ego, but not the story.

What if those who want to discuss your work could publish it in full, with your branding on it?

Enter the MediaStorm Player’s share and embed features.

Your work benefits from the exponential power of sharing – in full, the way it was meant to be seen.

Client Testimonials

"When we decided to create an online digital archive of in-depth photojournalism stories I had no idea of the HOW, especially the technical side of making it happen. I was driven by the need and just had to figure it out along the way. While developing the concept one of our board members, Tom Kennedy, suggested we connect with MediaStorm, which had the best reputation in the industry for creating a platform that was both top drawer visually but also broad in its scope.

Brian and his team fully supported our project from the beginning. He is always accessible, infinitely patient with my slow learning curve and regularly offers advice on how to make the archive look better and function more efficiently.

A year into building the archive and we continue to grow and improve our display as we learn to master the tools of the MediaStorm platform. One of the most important features for our project is how good the platform is at helping us contextualize the stories and enhance the viewer experience. Context is so important to properly archiving photojournalism stories and MediaStorm’s design is grounded in supporting that need.

It's hard to imagine what shape the archive would be in today without MediaStorm. Certainly the photojournalists whose work is in the archive are pleased with how their stories are displayed, and as we begin reaching out to draw people to the project it is reassuring to know we can be proud of it all."

Randa Cardwell -- Executive Director, Photojournalism Archive

"I wanted to take a few minutes from my travels to thank you again for helping me convert my site and projects to the MediaStorm Platform. I had lunch the past two weeks with numerous former students and colleagues in NYC and in Chapel Hill and our conversations naturally meandered back to the many projects we did together and the challenges of hand coding, designing and constructing every aspect of content and interactivity as we progressed.

To now have a toolset that allows the simple and seamless integration of video, playlists, slideshows, covers, podcasts, pages, timelines, podcasts and audio at my fingertips seems miraculous. If I had had this toolset a decade ago, I’d probably still be producing projects. And the fact that it is a living organism that continues to evolve and grow is even more amazing. Every time I log-in I learn something new or find a way to add important content features to my storytelling.

I guess I shouldn’t be amazed or surprised because MediaStorm has been leading the visual storytelling industry since its inception almost two decades ago. We each took non-traditional paths in our visual storytelling careers, but I want you to know how much value you’ve contributed to and continue to contribute to the profession. You’ve trained and influenced an entire generation of storytellers and now you’ve freed us from the most burdensome aspect of storytelling by creating and providing a malleable platform that allows us to easily infuse our own creative visions into the publication of our work. This removes a major stumbling block from the process and opens the door for endless important storytelling.

I look forward to following the evolution of this toolset and continuing to learn more about its many features as I add new aspects to and experiment with my own storytelling. I also look forward to watching the platform grow and spread throughout the industry and academe and provide all storytellers an easier way to build and share their important stories. We can change the world one story at a time, and it’s now even easier and more elegant, thanks to your vision. Thanks for empowering us."
